Archery

Archery is an adventurous opportunity for Brownie age upwards. It is great to have a go, often people say they are going to be ‘rubbish at it’ even before they have fired an arrow. It is great when they hit the target!

One of the aims in archery is to improve on your own performance. Consistently hitting the target and to be able to aim the arrow to go where you want it to go.

Adults can take the GNAS Archery Leader qualification which enables you to supervise youngsters.  You do not have to be good at archery yourself, being able to deliver a session safely is the main criteria.
