County Boating Weekend
There’s nothing quite like ‘messing about on the water’!
Eighteen Guides and Senior Section members, plus six Leaders, had a brilliant time at the Wet Wet Wet!!! County Boating weekend at Ferry Meadows in June 2009. Activities on offer were windsurfing, dinghy sailing, rafting and kayaking.
Jodie, one of the Guides on the weekend, summed it all up by saying ‘The boating weekend on the lakes was FUN. The windsurfing was the best in my opinion. I would go camping with Guides again because I made some new friends and had a great experience’.
